Our Pack

At the heart of every responsible breeding program are the dogs themselves. Each member of our pack represents the foundation of everything we strive to build at Evelyn's Evergreen. This page is dedicated to introducing the dogs who shape our program and the standards we hold for them.

Every dog in our care is selected and evaluated based on a combination of structure, temperament, health, and overall soundness. While appearance and pedigree provide useful information, they are only one piece of a much larger picture. Our goal is to develop a line of Great Danes that embodies stability, longevity, and the balanced qualities that define this remarkable breed.

Transparency is an important part of that process. For each dog in our program, we provide detailed information including AKC registration records, orthopedic health testing through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), and comprehensive genetic screening through Embark DNA testing. These evaluations allow us to better understand the genetic health and structural soundness of each dog and help guide responsible breeding decisions.

By sharing this information openly, we aim to give visitors a clear view of the standards behind our program and the dogs who make it possible. Our pack is not simply a collection of breeding dogs. It is a carefully developed family that reflects our commitment to thoughtful stewardship of the Great Dane.
